Sasha is our WAG Head Coach and is primarily involved with coaching the higher levels of the WAG IDP program. Sasha began coaching at Castle Hill RSL Gymnastics in 2007, taking on the Head Coach role the following year. Sasha began his gymnastics involvement as a MAG athlete in his birth country of Belarus, later becoming involved in coaching. Sasha went on to become the MAG Head Coach at the Elite School of Gymnastics in Gomel, Belarus for 10 years before moving to Australia. Upon moving to Australia in 2005, he became a WAG Assistant Coach at the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra working with Elite development athletes. In his time in Australia, Sasha has coached numerous National Champions and National Club Champions and is highly regarded in the Australian Women’s Gymnastics community. |
